Toshio Takami was born in 1947 in Tobata Ward, Kitakyushu City. Graduated from Setsu Mode Seminar in 1972. In 1985, won the second prize at the 4th Contemporary Crafts Art Kyushu Association Exhibition. In the same year, it won the Japan Stained Glass Grand Show Award for Best Work. 1990 Received the Japan Glass Art Exhibition '90 Excellence Award.
